An Easy Lean Meal with Turkey Sausage!

Hello again to all, this is a really easy and lean meal we are about to prepare.  It takes no more than about 15 minutes to prepare and is a quick pick me up.

We start with chopped up vegetables, I did onions, mushrooms and carrots.





In a large sauce pan combine all of your cut up veggies. Add a little olive oil, you do not need much and toss them a bit before you begin cooking them.  Set them on low heat and cook until the onions are a bit soft.  Do not over cook b/c that will drain the nutrients right out of your dish!  You can cook the turkey sausage links at the same time as the veggies in another pan or if you are short on space or sauce pans do them separate.

Place sausage in pan, you can do it with or without the onions.  I used a little olive oil spray in the pan just to lightly coat it and then placed it on low heat.  Cook until they are done.



Load a bowl with the veggie mixture and add 2 of the sausages sliced up.  It is a very tasty dish and good for you too!
