Breaking up a workout to make it work in your day

Check this out, the next wave of office work!
Getting a full hour in for some people is not always doable so do you just throw the workout away for the day? NO WAY!!!  Try doing some squats while you are waiting for your eggs to cook or your coffee to brew.  Do a few push ups before you jump in the shower.  When you get to work park as far away as you can so you will have to walk a greater distance to get to your office.  If you don't have a cool set up like these guys to the right, make sure you get up frequently during the day and move around.  I know you get involved in your work but that is no excuse, set your watch or outlook with alarms to remind you to get up and walk to the bathroom or down the hall a few times every hour.
Until all workstations are like the ones you see in the photo above we will remain sedentary unless we continue to find ways to add in exercise, even if it is a little here and there EVERY DAY!!  Try this simple add in to your day, at lunch talk a buddy in to going out and walking with you for about 20-30 minutes.  Make sure to plan ahead and bring proper shoes! If your office doesn't allow you to get outside walk around in the building or find some stair to walk up and down in your building, be creative but be active!  If you want to read more about office walkers visit http://officewalkers.ning.com
