Do you travel a lot? Feel like there is no place to exercise when you travel. You do not have to look far to find a set of stairs, a open side walk or maybe a small school track.
This is a great little gravel track at Mary Munford School here in Richmond, VA. This is a easy spot to go and workout if you are lacking a facility. You really do not need a gym to workout at all. You can run, walk, cycle all for FREE in the great outdoors. This particular track also offers small stations where you can do push ups, chin ups, squats, tricep dips, lunges, and other such activities. So traveling or lack of a gym or workout facility should not be an excuse to why you cannot get out and get some exercise. Even if you find a stairwell in your hotel to run up and down, or a city block to walk around you can always get a workout. If you feel YOU MUST have a gym to do your workout do a little research. Some gyms offer a visitor fee/travelers fee. Before you travel call a local gym that is close to your hotel or place of business. Ask about the fees for an out of town visitor. Keep calling places until you find a place that allows you to pay for the use of their facility for a short period of time. If you are lucky your hotel will offer a small workout facility. It might be very small and very limited but most hotels in this day and age do offer a workout place for their visitors. So be savvy, be prepared, do your homework and remember there is no excuse for not working out while you are out of town on business or pleasure!
